South Gate School offers aspiring authors a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, while providing a practical education in the art and business of storytelling for modern media.
Master popular genres while developing your unique voice, along with a small, supportive and diverse group of peers. Study in Denmark and learn the skills to become a working writer.
Every semester dives into a different popular genre or trend. You’ll learn its history and evolution while reading relevant texts by the masters.
You’ll learn the craft of popular structures and tropes, so you can use or abuse them in your own writing.
You’ll read, watch, analyze, and practice writing for various media, including popular and literary fiction, play and film, children’s literature, young adult, and game narrative.
Your business classes will teach you how to develop your author platform, publish your work, apply for artist grants, write articles, reviews, and more.
